Spring - Acrylic on Canvas

In this work from the Seasons Series, Spring represents rebirth after the struggle of eating disorders. A radiant cosmic eruption surrounds the figure, while clusters of stars subtly form rib cages within the surrounding space. These celestial structures reference the physical toll of starvation while transforming the body into part of a larger universal cycle. As galaxies expand outward, the image reflects the return of life and nourishment. Spring becomes a moment of renewal - when the body and spirit begin to reclaim space, strength, and possibility.
